Construction Superintendent

J9 Builders is a construction company headquartered in Harrisburg, PA. We are seeking a full-time, reliable, Construction Superintendent. The Construction Superintendent would travel to new construction and renovation job sites and would be responsible for overseeing day-to-day activities, manage construction crews, and assist with the coordination of construction site management, procurement, and deliveries.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Monitor and manage new hotel builds and hotel renovations.

· Subcontractor management and coordination.

· Adhere to project schedule.

· Enforce quality and safety control.

· Report project progress daily.

· Effectively communicate verbally and digitally.

· Ability to read commercial construction blueprints and specifications and ability to communication plans to team, and develop project plans and schedules.

· Builds and maintains positive relationships with vendors.

Skills and Requirements

· Construction experience and knowledge required.

· 3 years Superintendent experience required.

· Demonstrated experience leading a team.

· Travel required - Daily location will vary based on current job site.

· Conduct/attend all kickoff, status, and recap meetings.

· Use of Wrike Software (Project Management platform) experience a plus.

· Must be organized.

· Must be a Team Player.

· Must have a valid driver’s license.

· Must be willing to travel up to 5 days a week (drive and/or fly).
